Rates: - 350 euros per night to sleep 4 to 6 for the whole house [two interconnecting apartments] - 230 euros per night to sleep 2 for the apartment A [ground and upper floor]] - 170 euros per night to sleep 4 persons for the apartment B [ground floor]. Please note: If you are renting apartment B by itself there will be no access to the terrace, but you will be able to make full use of the courtyard. In case of cancellation the deposit is not refundable. There is a deposit of 200 to 300 euros for security reasons the day of arrival. This deposit will be returned at the end of the tenancy period, after checking with the house manager that everything in the house is okay [no damages - broken or missing items]. The original character of the house has been carfully preserved and there are original features everywhere - wooden ceilings, original tiles, a stone sink in the kitchen and period furniture. The house is situated above Kamini village on Hydra island. Hydra is unique among the Greek islands as it has no motorised traffic - donkeys are used to carry everything - and all houses are built in the traditional manner. The chic island of Hydra is unique in that there are no cars - only donkeys. This traditional stone mansion is renovated to a high standard and decorated in a classical/Bohemian style. It has all the luxury without pretension. It has two good sized balconies with fantastic sea views and a roof terrace with a 360 degree panorama of the sea and the islands interior. The master bedroom, in blue and white, has its own balcony as well as double doors that open to give a sea view from the bed. This room has its own private stairs to the pool. The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, each with a full size bath. Upstairs there is the main sitting room, a fully equipped whitewashed kitchen, and a large dining room with an oval table and interesting art on the walls. Downstairs there is a second sitting room with a open fire and its own access into the courtyard. Outside there is a large covered dining area overlooking the private pool.
