Mouria, part of rhodestraditionalhouses.gr

House, traditional house with archway, fully renovated, its pebble floor and wooden structures are all left intact, located in a quite part of the village, its residents will get the feeling of a true village life, close to many amenities, residential property size of land: 87 square meters (870 square feet) total residential area: 99 square meters (*) court yard: 10 square meters grand total: 109 square meters Mouria’ (= mulberry tree), built with stones circa 1800, was named after the area where it is located; it expands into three different levels. With the atmosphere of its main salla intact (including its central arch, pebble floor and two pataro’s used for sleeping), it is widely acclaimed to be one of the best preserved traditional houses of Koskinou. All the house’s internal structures are made of hand crafted wood. Wherever possible, traditional material and ways of building were used; an exception to that are its modern electric wiring, kitchen and bathroom water connections, and sewage. Kitchen: Spacious, with a wooden beamed ceiling. Located on the ground floor, overlooks the courtyard. 1st bathroom: Basin, shower, WC. Located on the ground floor. 2nd bathroom: Basin, shower, WC. Located on the ground floor. Main salla: An excellent and representative piece of traditional Koskinou architecture. It has a floor covered with a finely preserved artistic decoration of kohla’ki (= black-and-white pebbles). It has a ground floor area of 40 square meters, plus an upper level of 10 square meters. Its central arch stands under a 5 meter (16 feet) high wooden beamed ceiling. Well aired, it is harmoniously connected with the court yard of the house. Although the house was originally built circa 1800, an inscription shows that its floor was actually covered with kohla’ki as late as 1894. It was only around that time that some house owners of the village could afford to cover their sandy floors with little stones that were gathered from the beaches of the island. Its ground level is used as living room and dining room. Its upper level consists of two pataro’s (= wooden traditional Koskinou platform bed), which are set at different levels and are accessed by individual staircases. Each one of them sleeps two persons. Bedroom 1: Double bed. Its windows are a strong source of natural daylight; they also allow a cooling breeze to flow into the room. Located on the first floor. Bedroom 2:The house actually has ONLY ONE BEDROOM. Nevertheless, as seen above, within its main salla there are two traditional high risen wooden 'sleeping platforms'. As it is impossible to express same in the basic feutures displayed in this site, we took the libery to claim that the house has two bedrooms (i.e., we classified the main salla also as a bedroom). For a full understanding and appreciation of this, please see the photo´s of the house. Court Yard: A very cosy area of 10 square meters. Partly covered by a grape vine, it has a floor decorated with beautifully preserved kohla’ki. Popular for sitting and relaxation. (*) all dimensions and conversions of meters into feet stated are approximations; they only appear so that they can be used as a rough guidance. Land, residential for sale This is a very good opportunity for those that like to create. The rough work on this project is done; the landscaping, the concrete reinforcements, the concrete frame. Now it is time to design and to decorate. This building, that is designed by the Greek architect Hatzimihalis, is playfully layered over the plot, optimizing light and views. The front part is destined to become the kitchen, living room and dining area. The back part is for two bedrooms. One level below there is space for another apartment, or 2 more bedrooms. Although all you see is concrete now, once it is finished, it will be barely noticeable. The roofs will be wood with ceramic tiles, there is space for big windows to maximize the views and the openness, and with natural stone some elements will be emphasized, or disguised. In this stage it is up to you to decide. Why is this a good investment? It consists of 2 plots. On the upper plot, that is 4856 M2 in size, this frame is built, but there is room for another house of about 80 M2. Then the second plot located a bit below is 4315 M2 and it can build another 200 M2 plus 200 M2 for basement/garage or workshop. For an expanding family it is an interesting choice, but also if you would want to invest and develop on Skiathos. The area of Agios Taxiarhis is close to the famous Evangelistria Monastery and has beautiful nature all around. This ridge actually balances on the border between the olive groves and mild flowing hills on the south side, and the more dramatic and rough nature of the north side. It is just 10 minutes by car to town, but nicely remote at the same time. ???? ??????? ??????? ????????? ???? ??? ???? ???????? ??? ????? ??? ?????? ?? ???????????. ?? ?????? ???? ????? ?????, ???? ? ?????????? ??? ?????????????, ?? ?????, ?? ???????. ???? ?? ???? ?????? ???? ???? ??? ???????????. ?? ??????, ?? ????? ??????????? ??? ??? ??????????? ?. ????????????, ???? ??????? ??? ???????? ?? ??? ???? ??? ???????? ??????, ?????????? ???? ??? ??????????? ??? ??? ???. ?? ????????? ????? ?? ???????????? ??? ???????, ?? ????????? ??? ??? ??????????. ?? ???? ????? ?? ???????? ??? ??? ?????????????? ?? ?? ??????. ??? ??????? ??? ???? ???? ?????????? ????? ??? ??? ?????????? ??????????, ? ??? ???? ??? ??????????? ??? ??????. ??? ???? ???? ?????? ????????? ?? ?????????, ???? ?? ???? ????????? ?? ????, ??? ?? ???????? ?????? ???????. ? ?????? ?? ????? ??????? ?? ?????????, ???? ??????????? ????? ??? ?????? ?????????, ??? ?? ????????? ???? ??????? ??? ?????? ?? ????? ??????? ?? ??? ??? ??? ???, ??? ?? ??????? ?????????? ?? ????????? ?? ??????? ??? ?? ????? ????????? ?? ????????? ????? ??? ???????. ???? ?? ????? ??? ??? ????? ??? ?????????? ?????????. ????? ????????? ???? ???????? ???? ?? ???????; ??????????? ??? ??? ????????. ??? ????? ????????, ??? ???? ?????? 4856 ?2 , ???? ??????? ????? ? ????????. ?????????? ????? ??? ???? ??? ????? 80?2 ???????. ?? ??????? ?????, ??? ????????? ?? ?????????? ???? ?? ???????? ?? ?? ???? ???? ?????? 4315 ?2 ??? ?????? 200 ?2, ??? ???? 200 ?2 ??? ??????? / ?????? / ??????????. ??? ??? ?????????? ?? ???????? ????? ??? ??????? ?? ?????? ???????????, ???? ?????? ?? ???????? ?? ????? ??? ???? ???????? ??? ??? ????? ?????????? ??????????. ? ??????? ??? ????? ???????? ????? ???? ????? ??? ??????? ????????? ??? ?????????????? ??? ????????? ?? ?????? ??????? ??????????. ? ???? ???? ????? ?????????? ???? ?? ??? ??????? ????????? ??? ??????? ??? ???????????? ????? ?????????????. ????? ?? ????????, ?????? ? ??? ????? ??? ?????????????? ??????. ? ???????? ???? ??? ???? ????? ???? 10 ????? ?? ?? ??????????, ??? ???? ????????? ???? ???? ????, ???? ????? ?? ???. House / home, residential for sale This is a very special house, as it has been owned for a long time by an old sea man, and therefore many elements are still in the original state. It was a luxury house when it was built, because it is significantly bigger than most of the town houses built in that era, and it has an internal staircase, while most houses were a lot smaller and connected with an outside staircase. It has a spacious courtyard with two entrances to two different side streets. The courtyard, overgrown with a grapevine is a haven of tranquility. The bathroom is still outside, but was renovated and is in a good condition. The entrance leads to a hall with the kitchen on the left side and the living room on the right side. The kitchen still holds many original elements like the tiles and the stove and the wooden double doors. The living room has a fire place and a connection with the cellar where the original pots for storing water and oil are located. The staircase is unique, as it is Y shaped, and leads to the main bedroom on the one side, and the two smaller bedrooms on the other side. The main bedroom is spacious with many windows and a balcony on the court yard side. The one smaller bedroom has a balcony too, the other one has two windows and a fire place. The house is in a very good condition, and just needs a cosmetic treatment. It would be possible to build a bathroom inside. The area is very nice, it is a bit uphill in the older part of town close to Agia Triada. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Papadiamanti Street. The bus-stop is close too. The house is sold with its furniture, and holds some nice original Greek closets To request further details please use the Contact Us link below. House / home, residential for sale, 216 sq. mt This is a house which we have admired for a long time and its present owners have completed a lot of major structural work to make it sound and dry. It is not at its most attractive at the moment, with bare bricks and concrete on show, but more work will be carried out to a further level of completion. From a buyer's point of view, all of the boring structural work has been done - new roof, concrete ring beam round the whole structure - leaving the interesting design part to be completed. On three floors, with a half level in between, the house could easily provide three double bedrooms and two bathrooms, possibly more with careful planning. Many of the internal walls have been removed, so there is a large empty space on the middle level, intended to become two double bedrooms. This level has separate entry through a door from a "bodzo". The ground floor retains its original old character with enormous thick beams running across the sitting room, and a corner fireplace. Elsewhere the ceiling beams and floorboards are new. The "wow" factor to this house is its superb view from the top floor roof terrace, the panoramic view of the sea and to Corfu town beyond, and of the village in the foreground. Parking is very close by on the road through the village, and the local shop and bakery just a few steps away. Well worth viewing, a blank canvas ready to be completed to your individual taste and requirements. To request further details please use the Contact Us link below. House / home, 8% guaranteed rental income for 3 years, up to 70% ltv guaranteed finance, up to 206% possible projected return on investment in 2 years, 5 star spa resort, residential for sale Type: 1 bedroom Studio SAMOS, GREECE: SEA VISTA Brief Summary: What has Sea Vista To Offer? • 8% Guaranteed Rental Income for 3 Years • Up to 206% Projected return on investment in 2 years • 5 Star Spa Resort • Facilities include tennis courts, dive centre, gym etc. • Just 3.5 hours flight time from the UK • Up to 70% LTV guaranteed finance • Beach front location, sea views from all units • Unlimited potential for capital growth • Only £1,000 reservation fee • Save at least 43% on full valuation • Purchase direct from the developer • AIPP Registered company • Secure payments to designated holding account • Lifetime Aftercare • Fully furnished Greece Vs. Spain: Greece has similar weather to Spain but boasts a stunning depth of history and culture that Spain will never be able to compete with. Greece also now has a far more sympathetic planning system that has been designed to encourage environmentally conscious resorts without allowing the over development, as witnessed in many of the Spanish Costas. Greece also benefits from already being a popular tourist destination for many nations, (17 millions tourists in 2007) giving the initial investor an all-important exit strategy. Why Greece? Greece has been a traditional holiday destination for many years. It has countless miles of gorgeous coastline, dotted with bustling resorts and quaint fishing villages. Not to mention the breathtaking, rugged mountainous regions. The way of life is often leisurely and meals can take many hours as the meal itself becomes a social event. With over 6000 islands, yachting is almost a national past-time as tourists and Greeks explore the crystal clear calm waters of myth. The historic significance of the mainland and its plethora of islands, have captured imaginations young and old from across the world. The mild climate provides the best setting in which to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The crystal clear seas, the dramatic rich green landscapes, combined with the traditional Greek hospitality and unique cultural heritage, it is easy to see why Greece is currently one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Following the success of Athens 2004 Olympic games, which brought major infrastructural improvements, Greece is now entering a new economic era. Greece has become increasingly more popular with not only traditional tourism, but is fast establishing itself with foreign investors as a country with enormous possibilities. Greece is now a popular destination for conventions, international exhibitions and major investments within the framework of the tourist industry. In a recent announcement, the Greek government underlined the importance of tourism for the economic development for the country. They also outlined the framework for a new strategy creating a more ‘investor friendly’ climate. This strategy comprises the gradual simplification of procedures involving new investments in order to reduce the levels of bureaucracy and red tape, as well as reaching out to new developing global markets. Passports / Visas British and all other EU passport holders travelling to Greece do not require a visa provided that the passport is valid for the intended period of stay in Greece. British Passport holders are permitted to stay in Greece up to the last day of the validity of their passports. There is no requirement for the passport to be valid longer than the period of stay in Greece. Children up to the age of 16 are permitted to travel to Greece on their parents’ passport. Money: The currency of Greece is the Euro. There are numerous ATM’s on the island and most hotels will also change Sterling to Euros at the reception. Greek History: From Jason and the Argonauts, to the battles with Troy and the ancient Olympic games. Few countries in the world can boast the culture, history and myth, which are inherent in almost every facet of Greek history. Often described as the cradle of modern civilisation, such intellectual luminaries as Pythagoras, Aristotle, Socrates, Hippocrates and Plato walked this ancient land. Samos: Samos is part of the East Aegean islands of Greece, located south of Chios, East of Ikaria and at its closest point only 2 miles west of Turkey. Samos is an Island steeped in history, culture and some of the most beautiful scenery Greece has to offer. Being the 8th largest Greek Isle, Samos has an area of 476Km2;, boasts two cities and a variety of boutique tourist destinations from the delightful marina resort of Pythagorio to the picturesque Kokkari. With flights to Samos available direct from around the UK, getting there has never been easier. Samos Tourism: Not only is there an international airport on the island which takes flights from all over Europe. There are also two ferry terminals. Tourism on the island increased by 21% in 2006 and 40% of all tourism is from Greek Nationals, ensuring a strong local demand. Tour operators offering package holidays to Samos include Tui, Thomson, Going Places and Cosmos. Travel: With a total of 66 Airports, Greece has never been more accessible. Greece is well served by charter and scheduled airlines. Many airlines fly direct to airports on the islands, but it is always possible to fly in to Athens and either take a connecting flight or ferry. Major airlines serving Greece include: Air Scotland, British Airways, Excel Airways, easyJet, flyglobespan, KLM, My Travel Airways, Olympic Airlines, Thomsonfly and Thomas Cook Airlines. Flights are easy to catch between islands or from Athens to the islands. Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines fly domestically. Located on the south coast of the island, Samos International Airport currently handles over 500,000 travellers per year. This figure is expected to rise by 20% per year. There is an abundance of reasonably priced local car hire firms on the island as well as numerous organised excursions. Climate: Samos benefits from the typical Greek climate, consisting of an abundance of sunshine offset by minimal rainfall. Location: Samos island is in the Eastern part of the Aegean Sea. It’s geographically located between the parallels 37.49° and 37.37° to the North and the meridians 26.33° and 27.04° to the East. Samos is under a mile (1500 metres) from the coast of Asia Minor at its closest point. The nearest islands include Ikaria, Chios, Fourni and Patmos. The Capital: The capital, Vathy (or Vathi), is built on the lush slopes that surround the island’s deepest bay. Vathy has retained its individual appearance, with its attractive neoclassical houses and old mansions with colourfully painted facades. Although Samos has several fine archaeological sites, the island is most notable for its excellent beaches and plentiful opportunities for hiking, cycling, and windsurfing. Samos Geography: The landscape of Samos is breathtaking. There are two major mountains on the island, Kerkis standing at 1443 metres (taller than Ben Nevis!) and Ambelos measuring 1160 metres. The Development's Aim: The concept behind the overall construction is to emulate a village traditional of the island. Therefore, the resort is split into hubs which encompass a range of property types. The varying design of the properties is intended to heighten the sense of community living while creating a pleasing and interesting aesthetic. The concept behind the overall construction is to emulate the village tradition of the island The resort is being carefully designed to comprise more than one style and size of property, clustered together in organic ‘hubs’. The reasoning for this design is to make the resort as attractive as possible to the owners whilst ensuring that the resort is flexible enough to accommodate the needs of the clients who will be staying within the resort as tourists. Facilities: The resort is going to have a stunning array of facilities. The ‘pièce de résistance’ will be the 600 Sqm. Spa, which is being designed by the internationally renowned Spa design company Blue Spa, who designed and operated the exclusive Mayfair Spa in the Radisson Edwardian, Mayfair hotel amongst others. It is envisaged that the Spa will use the temple of Hera, which used to grace the island, as the inspiration for its look, feel and atmosphere. The Spa will have numerous treatment rooms and a pool which merges both internal and outdoor use. In addition to the Spa, there will be a comprehensive array of other facilities. There will be a selection of bars and restaurants within the resort, coupled with shops, water sport facilities and tennis courts. The bay of Klima already has two restaurants languishing on its waters edge, which will of course be within easy reach. The tourist resorts of Pythagorio and Psilli Amos are 10 and 2km away respectively. The Capital city of Samos with its eclectic mix of sites of cultural significance, shopping centre, restaurants and a range of lively bars, is only a short 15 minute drive from the resort. Resort Features: • World Class Spa • Two tennis courts • Gymnasium • Dive Centre/Water Sports Centre • Outdoor Pool • Indoor Pool • Two Restaurants • Reception • Children's Club • Pool/Snack Bar • Boutique • Mini Market The properties within the Sea Vista resort have to be fully furnished if they are ever to be entered into the rental pool. The Sea Vista Resort is offering a furniture package should clients wish to take advantage of the rental guarantee. Please contact us for information on furniture packages. Rentals: All properties within The Sea Vista Resort can enter the rental scheme which guarantees a rental return of 8% per annum for five years, whilst allowing the owner fourteen days free usage per year! All holiday resorts around the world have several quiet years when they first open whilst their customer base and reputation is being developed. Usually, the property investor has to accept that for the first few years they will achieve little or no rental whilst this reputation is being created. This can obviously cause a problem if the property is bought with finance. The Sea Vista Resort offers the rental guarantee from the first day that the resort opens to ensure that clients are not left with a cash-flow problem whilst the Resort is establishing itself. Some rental guarantees are created simply by inflating the prices of the property, not so with Sea Vista. We offer a true rental guarantee based on the developer backing the return from their own funds and profit from construction of the resort. Clients can elect not to enter into the five year contract and either let it themselves or keep it purely for their own personal use. Pre-release Prices: • Studio: From £115,000 - Deposit of just £31,500 required • 1 Bed Kampana: From £159,000 - Deposit of just £43,200 required • 2 Bed Townhouse: From £239,000 - Deposit of just £62,400 required • 3 Bed Villa: From £440,000 - Deposit of just £123,000 required Maintenance: The maintenance charge is 19 euros per m2 of the property size. This sum is payable per annum and includes all costs associated with the operation of the resort, such as utility bills etc. There are no other charges to pay apart from any borrowings or insurance. Purchase Procedure: The purchase procedure is split into three phases, pre-contract reservation, post-contract and completion. Pre-contract: The first step once having decided upon a property within the resort is to place a reservation deposit. This sum is a non-refundable deposit of £1000 which takes the property off of the market for 30 days. This deposit is returned when you complete on your property. You will be expected to fill in a reservation form and the personalised contract will then be sent to you using these details. Once you have received this contract, you will be expected to make your first payment within 14 days. Post-contract: Upon signing the contract, you will be expected to make six payments on the property as detailed in the table to the left. When a payment is dependant upon a build stage, proof will be proved by the developer supplying digital photographs of the completed build stage 14 days before payment is due. Of course, owners can visit the construction site at any time to check progress for themselves. Completion: Upon completion, the owner will be given a snagging list which usually encompasses around 300 points. Both the owner and a representative of the developer will check the property and agree on any areas which need to be rectified. Taxes on completion are expected to be 9.2% of the purchase price. Payment Stage Amount: • Within 14 days of receiving contract 10% • Within 60 days of receiving contract 20% • Completion of the foundations 20% • Completion of the raw construction 20% • Completion of the finishing works 25% • Resort completion 5% Ownership: Due to Greek legislation, the properties are offered on a full sixty year lease with unrestricted use. Current Greek contract legislation states that after five years the properties can be offered on a full freehold basis and the contract with the developer states that at this time, the properties will be transferred at no extra cost to the owner. The contracts also state that should for any reason a property not be transferred to full freehold ownership, then the leasehold agreement will be extended in perpetuity, with no cost to the owner. Finance: There are various finance options available to owners with The Sea Vista Resort. The cheapest and quickest method is usually by raising finance in the UK but owners can also obtain finance from Greek banks or take advantage of the developer loan. Greek Bank Finance: There are numerous banks who offer mortgages on Greek properties. Customers are free to make enquiries with any Greek lender if they so desire. UK Finance: In almost all circumstances, it is quicker, easier and more cost-effective to raise finance within the UK than obtain overseas mortgages. UK finance can be achieved through a variety of means from unsecured loans to raising finance by releasing equity from a UK property. We are not qualified to give advice on this subject and recommend that anyone considering raising finance obtains advice from a registered independent financial advisor. Developer Finance: When applying for finance, it is possible to be refused lending for a variety of reasons, many of which may not be your fault, such as faulty reporting to credit agencies. People who are self-employed or live in foreign countries can also experience problems when applying for credit. To try and avoid these problems, the developer is offering guaranteed finance, with no credit checks, for the payments which fall due after the initial 10% and 20% payments. This finance can be paid on the stage payments as they become due during the construction. In essence, the owner will only need to pay off the interest every month on the amount they have had to borrow at that time. To request further details please use the Contact Us link below. House / home, residential for sale, 100 sq. mt Situated in a quiet area only ten minutes walk from the beach, number one villa is simple in style, but would be absolutely the ideal home for most people searching in this part of the island. In the style of a bungalow, the property is built in a plot set well back from the main road, and has an easy to manage garden, mainly laid to lawn. There is a lovely tiled swimming pool, with patio surround, and a shady covered terrace at the front of the house overlooking the pool and garden. Its garden which is fenced and gated, is shared with its sister villa, number two, but the properties are far enough apart for them to be occupied by separate families without too much interference. There is a large parking area just inside the gates, and lovely, long distance views over the adjacent fields to the hills in the south. Entering the hallway, on your left are two double bedrooms each with fitted wardrobes and its own en suite shower room. The hall continues to the right of the property to the large light and airy sitting room. This has patio windows leading to the covered terrace, and an unusual vaulted, ceiling design which accentuates the feeling of spaciousness. A doorway opens into the separate kitchen/dining room with light wood fully fitted units and tiled splashbacks. A back door gives out onto the patio at the rear which links it to its sister house. Full gas central heating and double glazing make this an economical house to run. Well built to high standards, with comfort and convenience in mind, this is an ideal property for longer holidays or permanent residence. One of our favourites! Built to the same high standard and good taste as the number one house, the second villa has a different layout, having a slightly smaller kitchen and living area (this time combined in one space) but there are three bedrooms instead of two. The living area has a vaulted wooden ceiling and french windows leading out onto the covered verandahs and the garden. Two of the bedrooms share a family shower room, and one has an en suite shower room. The house has no swimming pool, although there is plenty of room for one. Gas central heating is installed. Buying these two villas would give the new owner the opportunity for rental income from one whilst living in the other. Both villas are exceptionally easy to maintain, being on one level, with tiled floors, and set in a flat garden consisting mostly of lawn. Extremely conveniently situated just a few minutes walk from the facilities of the village and the sandy beaches there. To request further details please use the Contact Us link below. Crete Crete is the largest and most Southern of the Greek islands, stretching for 256 km across the Mediterranean. It is the most popular island for those wishing to purchase a property yet has half the population density of the European Union. This beautiful and unspoilt island is blessed with 330 days of sunshine every year and a mild winter temperature. The landscape is both varied and drastic, ranging from a mountainous interior snow capped until May, to kilometre long white sandy beaches with turquoise seas. The North West of Crete is an area of outstanding beauty and is the greenest part of the island, lush vegetation meets the coast where a scattering of villages and fishing harbours appear untouched by time. It is no wonder that with two major airports allowing easy accessibility via a 3 and a half hour flight, inexpensive property, unspoilt scenery, and a cost of living 40% less expensive than in the UK, that Crete is emerging as the island of choice. Hotel, sale, corfu

Hotel In 1960 Jerasimos Patronikolas and his wife Kaliroi Onassis [sister of the renowned Aristotelis Onasis ] bought from the old Corfiot family Myrtiloy ,an olive hain of 50000 sq.m stretching along tne seaside. There, within the olive trees, which are older than 400 years they built the Miramare Hotel. / With respect to nature they enriched the surrounding area with flowers and other plants and the hotel together with the whole area is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Greece .A virtual miracle, as its name says. The inauguration took place under great publicity and among the guests was the then Prime Minister of Greece, Konstantinos Karamanlis. The Miramare belonged to the luxury hotels of the time and its guests used to eat with silver cutlery. Ex King Konstantinos of Glucksburg entrusted the hotel and its cuisine the reception of his guests. The chef de cuisine of that time often cooked in the palace for the royal family. For many years the hotel was managed by the Swiss firm Gauer and the majority of the guests were of higher social and financial status. At that time, the Commander of the 6 American fleet chose the Miramare for a few days of tranquility, rest, beauty and luxury. / Many important personalities of political life of the time such as Andreas Papandreou the for many years Greek Prime Minister-the President of the Greek Parliament, Ioannis Alevras, the President of Greek Democracy, Christos Sartzetakis, as well as foreign personalities like Jimmy Carter, Felippe Gonzales, Mario Suarez all spent unforgettable holidays in the Miramare. In 1994 the hotel was taken over by the group of Sourlas brothers. Under their management, the hotel has been substantially renovated with great care and affection without regard to cost. All facilities and rooms of the hotel were entirely renovated. Two unique swimming and tennis courts are just a part of the additions made, and in general the hotel was brought up to todays standards, a modern and timely facility with respect to natural and tradition. / In 2002, the Sourlas brothers decided to expand the hotel, and in a land of 25.000sq.m they built the Miramare Park which started operating in July 2004. This new part of the Hotel complex consists of 98 rooms, of which 72 are double/triple rooms, 10 are specially made for disabled persons and 10 to host honeymooners. / Two conference halls were in this new building, one, being 320sq.m[200-300persons] and the other, being 81sq.m [60-70 persons] Moreover, there are two bars, one main bar with a terrace offering a lounge and a bar next to the Olympic sized pool which has an amphitheatre around it. More additions include a new tennis court with artificial grass and a Health Beauty Spa with heated pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, hammam, massage and a complete gym and relaxing area. / Thus , with the addition of Miramare Park the full hotel capacity increased to 250 rooms offering five types of accommodation. 153 double/triple rooms , 28 bungalows,26 superior double/triple rooms and VIP cottages and 41 family rooms./
